Shiba Inu Joins International Women of Blockchain Event

Shiba Inu executives joined The International Women of Blockchain (IWB) event last week in Washington DC during Women’s History Month. This announcement caused the SHIB token to gain 3.4% and its burn rate soared 319% over the last 24 hours.

Fund Established to Support Female Workers

The fund was established by SHIB Token developers to support female workers in the crypto space. Additionally, Sherri Cuono and Marcie Jastrow unveiled their roadmap for Shiba Inu’s metaverse at SXSW 2023 experience in Austin Texas. The first virtual HUB was revealed called ‘The WAGMI Temple’ which allowed enthusiasts to participate in group meditation and explore the temple further on their website.

$50K Raised for Projects in Shibarium

Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama created a support fund for women building projects in Shibarium which is a layer-2 upgrade for Shiba Inu token worth $25k alone. Furthermore, NFAI contributed $10K and Marcie Jastrow and Sherri Cuono together donated an additional $15K bringing it up to $50K total.

Universal Participation Necessary

Shytoshi Kusama stressed that universal participation is necessary if blockchain wants to reach full adoption: “We will never reach full adoption until blockchain is accessible and utilized by all genders and nationalities.“ UnificationUND also pledged another $10k towards this cause showing their support as well.

Supportive Men are Key

LucieSHIB tweeted her appreciation towards men like @ShytoshiKusama or @EdwardSalomons because they never treated her differently due to her gender: „If you want to support women treat them equally not differently because you welcome them Don’t seek separation but unity with men.“
